First come, first served.
学英语是个循序渐进的过程 ， 每天掌握好一个英语口语表达 ， 利用闲暇时间日积月累学英语 。 今天的英语口语表达是：
First come, first served.
这里served的原型是serve ， 这里是过去分词表被动 ， 是“被服务”的意思 。
这句话的字面意思是：
先来的先服务 ， 就是“先到先得 ， 先来后到”的意思 。
这是英语里由来已久的一句谚语 。
常常用来表示某样东西限量提供 ， 先到就有优先选择的机会 。
First come, first served. The first people to arrive will be able to get the best choices.
先到先得 ， 先到达的人会得到更好的选择 。
You can't reserve a seat at the movie theater; it's strictly first come, first served.
你不能在电影院预留座位 ， 它是严格按照先到先得的 。
The first hundred people will get a free T-shirt - it's first come, first served.
前100名可以得到免费T恤 ， 先到先得 。
