陈曦已经意识到 , 我们今天的生活发生的改变已经不能够局限于周遭看到的现实 , 世界正在发生根本性的转变 , 我们观察的视线已经超出了历史所给予的范围 , 世界是不断转动并结构性关联的地球 , 全球化意味着政治、经济、文化以及社会生活的多重渗透和影响 , 我们完全不可以用过去的思维模式套进今天瞬息变化的生活 。 这就是为什么陈曦越来越采用不同的方式和手段来解构她的艺术世界的原因 。

Chen Xi has realised that we have today's life changes can't confined to see around the reality the world is undergoing fundamental changes we look at the line of sight is beyond the scope of history to give the world is rotating and structural relation of earth Globalization means multiple infiltrations and influences of political economic cultural and social life. There is absolutely no way we can fit past thinking patterns into today's rapidly changing life. This is why Chen Xi is increasingly using different ways and means to deconstruct her art world.

在中国仍然面临制度性缺陷而历史又留下大多包袱的情况下 , 全球性的种种危机也渗透进来 , 变化的速度是那样地让人难以承受 , 以致恐惧与无助的心理油然而生 。 当人文主义的关怀还是中国的重要话题时 , 西方国家早已对自由主义与民主逻辑的弊病开始了批判性的质疑 。 于是 , 对陈曦来说 , 比较、并置、综合以及归纳更具有概括性和历史性的问题 , 就成为艺术家近期的工作 。 While China still faces institutional flaws and most of the baggage of history global crises have seeps in and the pace of change is so overwhelming that fear and helplessness arise. When the concern of humanism is still an important topic in China western countries have already begun to critically question the drawbacks of liberalism and democratic logic. Therefore for Chen Xi comparison juxtaposition synthesis and induction are more general and historical issues which have become the artist's recent work.

陈曦从2013年开始进行了古今中外要素与符号的结合与并置 , 她把在媒体上看到的与自己日常生活中的物品放置在一起 , 以便碰撞出意想不到的矛盾与冲突 。 在《21-今日之局》(2016-17年)和《21-昨日荣耀》(2017年)里 , 陈曦使用了厄普代克的逻辑 , 让一只兔子来串联今天人类的——不仅仅是中国的——问题 。 同时 , 她也注意到当年波伊斯面对兔子的困惑:“如何向死去的解释所发生的”?这些问题是知识者都比较熟悉的 , 但是艺术家用她综合的手段再次提出:问题是继续存在的 , 人类并没有解决这些问题 。 Since 2013 Chen Xi has been combining and juxtaposing ancient and modern elements and symbols at home and abroad. She puts what she sees in the media together with objects in her daily life in order to collide unexpected contradictions and conflicts. In \"21-Today's Situation\" (2016-17) and \"21-Yesterday's Glory\" (2017) Chen Xi uses Updike's logic to use a rabbit to connect the problems of today's humanity -- not just China -- with each other. At the same time she notes that Boyce was puzzled by the rabbit: \"How to explain what happened to the dead?\" These problems are familiar to all intellectuals but the artist uses her comprehensive approach to put forward once again: the problems are continuing and humans have not solved them.
