可是 ， 任何事物总是有它模糊不清的一面 ， 说到这里 ， 笔者必须点明一个问题 ， 并不是说PER基因高表达就一定是好的 ， 也有证据[12]表明 ， 在乳腺癌的化疗中 ， 先使PER2沉默再使用阿霉素（Dox）的化疗方式明显比单独用Dox治疗的效果佳 。 简单来说 ， 就是对比后者 ， 前者癌细胞对化疗药物更加敏感[10,11] 。 由此笔者认为 ， 对于有比较严重的剂量限制性不良反应的化疗药(譬如Dox) ， PER基因或许可以为减轻Dox对患者的化疗相关毒副反应提供启示 。
综上所述 ， 看上去卑微（却根本不卑微）的时钟基因在肿瘤的发生发展上有着不容忽视的作用 ， 期待它有朝一日可以为抗癌事业做出杰出贡献 ， 关于昼夜节律、时钟基因与临床治疗之后的联系及发展 ， 就让我们拭目以待吧 。
