1. 句子结构分析：句子主干是revenue in April was 89% higher than last year；which operates in 45 countries是定语从句修饰Uber Eats 。
2. At Uber Eats：注意是at+公司名词 。
3. Uber Eats：Uber外卖服务 。
4. 同义表达：operate in是一个固定表达 ， 在这里表示“开展业务” ， 比如CATTI这句：
The bank operates in 18 African countries, 20 other countries across the world and has recently been on an expansionist drive.
该银行在非洲18个国家和另外20个国家开展业务 ， 近来正在积极扩张 。
5. was 89% higher than last year：同比增长89% 。 be+数字+higher than last year表示“同比增长” 。

1. 翻译思维：Mark Shmulik of Bernstein翻译的时候可以说明此人的职位 ， 即“分析师” 。
2. 固定表达：expand at意思是“以……的速度增长/扩张 ， 增速为” 。 可以说expand at a rate of+百分比 ， CATTI例句：
Money supply is expanding at a rate of nearly 30%.
货币供应量增速近30% 。
今天这个expanding at rates above 100%意思就是“以超一倍的速度不断扩张” 。
expanding也可以换为increasing ， growing 。
注意原文用了rates ， 因为美国整个餐饮外卖市场不止一家公司 ， 后面也举了不止一个例子 。

第六句：Despite continuing to lose money, DoorDash recently secured a valuation of $16bn, up from $12.7bn in late 2019.
虽然DoorDash仍在亏损 ， 但最近这家公司估值达到160亿美元 ， 而2019年底为123亿美元 。
1. DoorDash：一家美国外卖送餐服务平台 。
2. 固定表达：lose money表示“亏损；亏钱；赔钱” ， CATTI上有句话跟这个很像 ， 它是这么说的：
Although the company continued to lose money, the results were better than many analysts had expected.
虽然该公司继续亏损 ， 但其业绩仍比许多分析师的预期要好 。
Despite和although都可以表示“虽然；尽管” ， 但although后面跟句子 ， despite后面往往跟名词性短语 ， 跟动词是doing；
所以Despite continuing to lose money也可以写为Although DoorDash continued to lose money 。
